About the role:
As a Nondestructive Test (NDT) Tech Intern you will participate in the technical management activities of the laboratory, focusing on Ultrasonic Testing (UT) methodologies. This is a paid 25 hours per week internship and is eligible to receive course credit.
We offer an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in technological development and advanced material inspection.
You will join a growing technical team with opportunities for training, learning, and specialization.
You will report to the NDT Technology Manager and be located at our HQ in Madrid. This is an on site position. To start at the end of March with a duration period of 5 to 6 months.
Main Responsibilities:
You will support the laboratory's technical activities, including:

Organization and inventory of equipment.

Maintain instrumentation and tooling.

Support to R&D projects focused on developing new inspection techniques.

Prepare tests and technical documentation.
We will also train you in:

Basic principles of different Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) inspection methods.

Develop inspection techniques in a laboratory environment.

Use and creation of inspection procedures.

Design components associated with NDT techniques and use of simulation software.

Prepare test plans and preliminary analysis of inspection results.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Physics, Engineering (Industrial, Mechanic, Materials, Teleco...), Mathematics or Chemistry.

Valuable experience with technical design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD).

Read and interpret technical documentation in English.
