About the role:
As a Principal Product Engineer you will be an important contributor to the Westinghouse Parts Business Product Management group with a focus on developing Westinghouse business opportunities within EMEA. This is a full-time job.
You will report to the Product Manager and be located at our HQ in San Sebastián de los Reyes. This is a hybrid position.
Main Responsibilities:
- Use industry experience to identify strategic plans, develop product offerings, and increase growth in target product markets. This may include project management of strategic taskforces. It may also involve developing supplier teaming arrangements, leading project teams for delivery, product development, and offer development. Additionally, it includes preparing business assessments and leading commercial discussions with suppliers and customers around the world.
- Promote expansion through Teaming Agreements and M&A activities. Incorporate Voice of the Customer and other business assessments to prioritize new product development.
- Ensure the projects are prioritized and performed following our goals by facilitating both sales and fulfillment teams.
- Up to 25% travel to customers, suppliers and industry conferences located in the EMEA region. Occasional travel to the US.
- Other responsibilities as assigned with the goal of implementing Westinghouse strategic plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university required.
- 10+ years of professional experience in technical or business-related fields.
- Experience of nuclear products market and product management concepts.
- Knowledge of nuclear component procurement activities, country-specific codes and standards, nuclear supplier base, and multiple mechanical products in nuclear power plant applications.
- Experience developing technical specifications to other partners.
