About the role:

As a Principal Project Manager you will be responsible for all phases in the project management process on low to moderate complexity projects within the department of Simulation and Control Rooms in ICS-EMEA.

You will be responsible for portfolio oversight, strategic customer engagement, international team coordination, and contribution to long‑term commercial goals.

This covers projects supporting EDF and other EMEA customers.

You will report to the Simulation and Control Rooms Senior Manager and be located at Madrid.

Hybrid work schedule.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead small to medium sized team, which may include project controls.

• Support business development activities, including proposals, technical coordination and customer discussions.

• Oversee the development of cost estimates and offers for operating plants support and modifications, supporting customer negotiations.

• Cultivate relationships with a diverse team, customers, and other partners in a matrix environment to facilitate successful project completion and identify opportunities for additional business growth.

• Understand contract requirements to ensure successful project implementation.

• Use and support Westinghouse project management systems and controls for various projects assuring management is provided with up-to-date and accurate reports of each project status.

• Maintain good working relationships with the customer.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline required; Advanced degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business valuable.

• Project Management qualification required.
• Knowledge of project scheduling and cost management.

• 4+ years of experience as project manager leading and directing low complexity projects to successful completion – alternatively a background as Technical Lead within projects and having an ambition to develop into Project Management

• Lead team members; develop relationships with all partners; and to make decisions as assigned.

• Proficient in French required, Spanish and English valuable.

• Experience in Simulation and Control Rooms valuable.

• Experience working with EDF valuable.
