As a Project Controls Specialist you will support nuclear decommissioning programs based in Madrid, and bring a background in project planning, cost control, and reporting, with proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and SAP.

You will report to the Manager D&D Southern Europe and be located at Madrid, Spain.

Hybrid work schedule.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Improve project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.

  • Prepare cost estimates, forecasts, and control budgets using Excel or SAP project modules.

  • Track project performance, including schedule and cost variances, and support analysis for decision-making.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate project reporting.

  • Support project performance metrics.

  • Ensure project controls comply with regulatory frameworks.

  • Contribute to change management, risk assessments, and partner reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

  • 5 + years of experience in project controls in nuclear decommissioning or another regulated sector.

  • Advanced user of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and SAP (cost control, budgeting, or project systems modules).

  • Understanding of scheduling, cost management, and risk analysis techniques.

  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken).

  • Availability to work on Madrid HQ.

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and project performance analytics.

  • Certifications such as PMP, APM PMQ, or AACE CCP valuable.

  • Familiarity with additional tools such as SAP.
