About the role:

As a Security Coordinator you will perform a variety of security-related functions to ensure the safety and security of company employees and assets.

You will join the Global Security segment of the Global Security & Real Estate Organization that contributes to the development and application of access control policies and procedures and works actively in the site credentialing program.

You will report to the Senior Manager of Global Security and be located at Madrid, Spain.

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee the completion of assigned physical security projects through direct interface with internal customers, project management team, and security integrator(s)
• Coordinate with external suppliers regarding implementation of the agreed scope of work in relation to various Security projects.
• Ensure all security projects meet Global Security's internal design requirements, project or regulatory requirements, and industry's best practices. Recommend and/or coordinate proposed changes with Global Security Management.
• Ensure all project status reports are produced in a complete and timely manner
• Perform observations and assessments to ensure compliance with procedures.
• Maintains a professional departmental, company and community reputation.
• Performs other duties as may be assigned by security management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Security or related field.
• 1+ years of security experience.
• Equivalent levels of operational experience may be considered.
• Working knowledge of related security operations, applicable NRC regulations, safety practices and enforcement procedures in a corporate business center and Westinghouse site location.
• Experience coordinating work schedules for assigned security related tasks.
• Respond to regulatory, government, law enforcement inquiries and/or employee/customer issues and escalate to management as needed.
• Successfully pass pre-employment and regulatory required background investigations to include but not limited to: criminal, traffic, fingerprint records check, work references, and education history.
