About the role:

As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will be a member of the Control and Automation Systems Design team, supplying robotic inspection systems for the quality control of nuclear and aerospace components.

You will report to the Consulting Engineer, Inspection Nuclear Product, and be located at the Madrid headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes with a hybrid work schedule (remote and in-office). This is a full-time role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in national and international projects supplying non-destructive testing (NDT) inspection systems, focusing on electrical design activities
  • Analysis and definition of requirements with project management and mechanical design, control and software development teams
  • Electrical design of inspection systems, automation/ control cabinets and machine cabling, automation systems, robotics cells (PLCs, robots, drives, pneumatics, connectors)
  • Selection of components (electromechanical, pneumatic, enclosures, protections, connectors)
  • Develop technical manufacturing and assembly specifications and documentation, electrical schematics, bill of materials (BOMs), checklists, test protocols
  • Monitor manufacturing, assembly, validation testing phases
  • Support incident resolution and post-sales service
  • Manage suppliers

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience as an electrical designer, EPLAN Electric P8 (expert user level)
  • Knowledge in:
    • Pneumatics (SMC, Festo)
    • Industrial connectors (Harting, Lemo, Amphenol, Fischer, Weidmüller, Phoenix Contact)
    • Industrial wiring (Igus, Lapp)
    • Enclosures (Rittal, Schneider, Schroff)
    • Safety devices (light curtains, photoelectric sensors)
    • Dimensioning of protections and wiring (low voltage)
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Driver's license
  • Ability for occasional travel to client facilities (during commissioning stages)

Sobre el puesto:

Como Ingeniero de Diseño Eléctrico Senior, formarás parte del equipo de Diseño de Sistemas de Control y Automatización, suministrando sistemas de inspección robótica para el control de calidad de componentes nucleares y aeroespaciales.

Reportarás al Consulting Engineer, Inspection Nuclear Product, y estarás ubicado en la sede central de Madrid, en San Sebastián de los Reyes, con un horario de trabajo híbrido (remoto y presencial). Este es un puesto a tiempo completo.

 

Responsabilidades:

  • Participar en proyectos nacionales e internacionales de suministro de sistemas de inspección por ensayos no destructivos (END), con enfoque en actividades de diseño eléctrico
  • Análisis y definición de requisitos junto con los equipos de gestión de proyectos, diseño mecánico, control y desarrollo de software
  • Diseño eléctrico de sistemas de inspección, armarios de automatización/control y cableado de maquinaria, sistemas de automatización, celdas robóticas (PLCs, robots, variadores, neumática, conectores)
  • Selección de componentes (electromecánicos, neumáticos, envolventes, protecciones, conectores)
  • Elaboración de especificaciones técnicas de fabricación y montaje, esquemas eléctricos, listas de materiales (BOMs), listas de verificación, especificaciones de fabricación y montaje, protocolos de prueba
  • Seguimiento de las fases de fabricación, montaje y pruebas de validación
  • Soporte en la resolución de incidencias y servicio postventa
  • Gestión de proveedores

 

Requisitos:

  • Título universitario en Ingeniería
  • 3-5 años de experiencia como diseñador eléctrico, con nivel experto en EPLAN Electric P8
  • Conocimientos en:
    • Neumática (SMC, Festo)
    • Conectores industriales (Harting, Lemo, Amphenol, Fischer, Weidmüller, Phoenix Contact)
    • Cableado industrial (Igus, Lapp)
    • Envolventes (Rittal, Schneider, Schroff)
    • Dispositivos de seguridad (barreras fotoeléctricas, sensores fotoeléctricos)
    • Dimensionamiento de protecciones y cableado (baja tensión)
  • Nivel fluido de inglés y español
  • Permiso de conducir
  • Disponibilidad para viajes ocasionales a instalaciones de clientes (durante fases de puesta en marcha)
