About the role:
As a Senior Project Manager, Radioactive Waste Management and Decommissioning you will support nuclear decommissioning programs based in Madrid, and bring a background in project management with proficiency in SAP systems.
You will report to the Manager D&D, Southern Europe and be located at the Madrid headquarters in San Sebastián de los Reyes. This is a full-time hybrid position with a mix of 50% on-site and 50% remote days that may be set at your discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage ongoing projects (national and international, including mid-large projects) from both operations and financials perspectives
- Manage projects control in SAP and other Westinghouse project control systems
- Manage clients, partners, vendors, and suppliers
- Coordinate with sales team for identifying new opportunities and development of offers
- Coordinate with ither teams for management of engineering resources
- Identify new opportunities and business growth
- Improve project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Prepare cost estimates, forecasts, and control budgets using Excel or SAP project modules.
- Track project performance, including schedule and cost variances, and support analysis for decision-making.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate project reporting.
- Support project performance metrics.
- Ensure project controls comply with regulatory frameworks.
- Contribute to change management, risk assessments, and partner reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
- 5 + years of experience in project controls, scheduler, planner
- Advanced user of SAP systems (cost control, budgeting, or project systems modules)
- Certifications such as PMP, APM PMQ, or AACE CCP.
- Knowledge of radioactive waste management, radiological protection, decommissioning
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
- Ability to travel occasionally
