Eddy Current Steam Generator Inspection Analyst

At Westinghouse, innovation is our legacy and our people are our greatest strength. We are looking for an Eddy Current Steam Generator Inspection Analyst to join our Field Services team and support steam generator inspection programs for nuclear power plants around the world.
This is an exciting opportunity for engineers and technical professionals who enjoy data analysis, problem-solving, and working within highly regulated industries. You will collaborate with international teams, contribute to critical inspection projects, and help ensure the safe and reliable operation of nuclear power plants worldwide.
Reporting to the Field Services Manager, this role is based in Madrid, Spain, with occasional international travel to support customer projects, training activities, and technical assignments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Eddy Current data analysis activities for steam generator inspections at Westinghouse facilities and customer nuclear power plant sites.
- Support the execution of inspection analysis projects, including outage preparation, process execution, reporting, and project closeout activities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, quality, regulatory, and schedule requirements.
- Coordinate with data acquisition teams and project stakeholders to support planning, progress tracking, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Deliver accurate technical evaluations and inspection results in accordance with industry requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying lessons learned and supporting process enhancements between inspection campaigns.
- Collaborate with customers, field teams, and technical specialists to ensure successful project execution.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international environments.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, written and spoken.
- Willingness to learn specialized inspection and data analysis techniques within the nuclear industry.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Non-Destructive Examination (NDE/NDT), Eddy Current Testing, Steam Generator Inspection Services, or related industrial inspection activities.
- Knowledge of Eddy Current inspection techniques, data analysis methodologies, and applicable industry standards.
- Previous experience in the nuclear, energy, aerospace, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries.
- Eddy Current certification or other relevant technical certifications.
- Availability for occasional international travel to support customer inspections, training activities, and project needs.
