Steam Generator inspection leader 

The Steam Generator inspection leader role provides leadership for delivery of for Steam Generator inspection and maintenance services to operational nuclear power plants worldwide including:

  • SG hand way holes/manway/nozzle dams opening-closing,
  • SG Primary (Tube Eddy Current inspection & plugging/stabilizer),
  • SG Secondary (sludge lancing and FOSAR)

This position is accountable to set up appropriate plan for delivering safe, flawless execution services; and achieving sustainable business results and interfacing with the customer on the contractual and technical deliverables.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Accountable to deliver the projects deliverables and requirements (safety, quality, schedule, financials):

  • Proactively manage on a daily base the execution of the project (outage preparation, process activities and closing) in a nuclear plant considering safety, quality, schedule adherence and project management discipline as top priorities,
  • Daily Interface with the customer,
  • Proactively set up standardized initiatives and actions to assure and improve safety conditions and quality results,
  • Focus his actions to achieve flawless execution with human error free and high-level equipment reliability results to achieve quality and schedule requirements,
  • Interface with the customers for project execution, reporting and supporting contract discussions,
  • Interface with the Westinghouse Outage Control Center,
  • Accountable to the application of the Westinghouse Project Management Requirements on the projects,
  • Develop lessons learned activities to drive continuous improvement between outages with the business lead,
  • Pro actively support the customer by highlighting Westinghouse’s capacities and solutions and chasing business activities for Westinghouse.

 

 

Education and Qualifications:

 

  • 5+ years of operation leadership experience on Nuclear Power Plant
  • Strong project management, communication, teamwork and change management skills
  • Strong technical interest / strong willing of worldwide journey and multi-cultural environment
  • English, Spanish language fluency (written and spoken); German if possible
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Steam generator maintenance services preferable
