Structural Engineer I

As an entry level Structural Engineer at Westinghouse, you will be a member of the Commodity Support Design group performing design work in support of the operation of existing nuclear power plants or new nuclear plants.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis and design for various commodities in the nuclear plant (HVAC/Electrical/Concrete Attachments) using commercial and/or dedicated engineering software.

• Follow design procedures and revision process as well as the applicable design codes

• Propose design solutions to technical challenges

• Participate into integrated and international project teams

• Opportunities to travel to sites

Minimum requirements and qualifications:

• 0+ years of experience

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent

• Software: GTStrudl or a Finite Elements Analysis Software e.g. ANSYS

• Familiarity with AISC N690, EUROCODE, AWS or ACI Design Codes

·      Experience working effectively in a team environment.

·       Candidate should be EU citizen or authorized to work in Spain.

·       Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
