Supervisor CSA

About the role:

As a Supervisor, you will report to the Manager of Component Structural Analyses (CSA) within the Reactor Component Engineering (RCE) department. You will be located in Madrid. You will grow as a leader while staying close to the technical depth that defines CSA. This is a full-time job and a hybrid position.

With the growth the CSA team has experienced over the past few years, we are looking for a Supervisor (Global Grade 9) to help manage our people and projects. Our team includes employees located in Belgium, France, and Spain with frequent collaboration with employees in the US; however, this supervisory role will focus on overseeing part of the engineers based in Spain.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work with the CSA Manager to allocate resources, plan project assignments, and ensure appropriate staffing. Provide informed input to the manager and project managers on staffing for upcoming scopes.

• Oversee the execution of assigned projects, ensuring you meet safety, quality, schedule, and cost goals. Support the team in delivering technically rigorous work.

• Identify staffing needs and participate in recruitment activities. Support smooth onboarding and integration of new team members, helping them quickly become contributors.

• Lead the development of team members by setting goals, monitoring assigned tasks and delivering performance evaluations. Encourage learning and skills growth.

• Foster a positive work environment consistent with Servant Leadership principles—supporting collaboration and a people‑first culture.

• Identify business opportunities and collaborate with Department partners to help secure new work aligned with CSA capabilities.

• Work with the resource manager and consulting engineer to support career advancement within the team.

• Be an acting manager during the CSA Manager's absence, ensuring continuity of operations.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in engineering or equivalent.

• 10+ years of related experience.

• Communication with leadership and general understanding of financial models

• Fluent in english and spanish
