We are looking to hire two people who will be responsible for the development/maintenance of Instrumentation and Control training materials using the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) and in accordance with Westinghouse, INPO, and nuclear industry standards and best practices.

Personnel in this position will be expected to qualify as an AP1000® Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Classroom and Hands on Training Instructor, as well as develop, modify, and review lesson plans to ensure information is accurate and up to date. During this time, it will be expected that they perform Instructional Duties as assigned under the supervision of a qualified instructor until qualified to perform the task independently)

  • Maintain appropriate security of examination material
  • Grade and proctor a written examination

Minimum requirements

 

- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Engineering

-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and use of database programs.

-Preferably 2 years I&C instructional related experience

-Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time to remote locations.

-Working knowledge of the associated Training procedures, INPO documents, NRC regulations and Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) systems would be appreciated.

-Preferred Certifications: Instructional learning certification and Instrumentation and Control Technician with 3 years nuclear experience

-Ability to work occasional long hours, rotating shifts, and weekends.

-Ability to successfully obtain and maintain unescorted access at a Nuclear Power Plant.

-Good organizational skills, good oral and written communication skills and have strong presentation/facilitation skills

-Language: English
