About the role:
As a training school manager you will lead Training School resources to support the BU organization for specific schools in Spain.
This is a main position on the Competency Development & Nuclear Operations team and you have initiative, leadership, collaboration, and team building skills.
You will report to the Director, Competency Development & Nuclear Operations and be located at Madrid.
Hybrid work schedule.
Main Responsibilities:

Establish area and individual goals, monitor performance, and provide feedback to ensure goals are met.

Develop area personnel.

Manage a group of Team Leaders (first-line supervisors) as direct reports who works hand by hand with the Program Managers from the different BU Projects.

Develop the skills of the group and maintain Subject Matter Expertise (SME) within GOS and cross train personnel to ensure resources qualifications to support BU Projects.

Positively model and promote a results-oriented accountability culture.

Encourage and support employee participation through involvement in problem-solving, decision-making, and implementing change.

Model and ensure Nuclear Safety behaviors.

Develop and implement plans for meeting customer requirements; ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, nuclear and government regulations.

Implement standards contained in Westinghouse "Codes of Business Ethics & Conduct."

Ensure that all employees reporting to you are informed about the standards and related policies.

Must implement change following our needs and the strategic plans of the organization.

Create flexible work force to accommodate variable demand within BU requirement range.

Capability to provide inputs to the BU to optimize resources.

Identify resources after resources loaded schedule development and as agreed with the BU and will conduct Resource Demand meeting with BU profit/loss leaders to review resource plans and performance metrics driving accountability into the process.

Support the BU during the Bid and Proposal process.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific or appropriate business field

5 + years of management experience in a training environment
-
5 + years of experience on NPP Spain Training school
-
Knowledge of the certification training Process, Systematic Approach to Training and Training Processes.

Experience supporting audits
