About the role:

As a Engineer 1 you will be responsible for the delivery of identified Mechanical Engineering deliverables across one or more projects.

Delivering project requirements individually (under the supervision of a Principal or Senior Mechanical Engineer) or as a member of a multi-discipline team.

You will report to the Manager, Process & Equipment Engineering and be located at Springfiled

Key Responsibilities:

• Production of design solutions using AutoCAD / Inventor and associated drawings required for both design proposals and manufacturing details.
• Production of scoping calculations and basic FEA calculations
• Production of technical documents such as Basis of Design, Testing Strategies/Schedules, Method Statements etc.
• Participation in design meetings and technical reviews and presentation of technical solutions
• Undertake Plant / Site Surveys

Qualifications:

• MEng preferred
• At least 1-2 year of experience on similar position
• Chartered Engineer/incorporated or working towards and engaged on a programme of Continual Professional Development.
• Working knowledge of standards, regulations, codes and directives and how they should be applied
• An appreciation and understanding of the Construction & Design Management Regulations.
• A good understanding of manufacturing codes/standards and familiarity of manufacturing techniques.
