Project Integration Engineer

As a Project Integration Engineer you will run the ‘T’ week planning process for the Oxide Fuels Business Unit, prepare and build detailed work programmes and control documentation in support of the ‘T’ week and outage planning processes, ensuring that all scheduled and breakdown maintenance, project installation (engineering group and capital schemes) and operational led activities are adequately scheduled for execution at T-0.
You will report to the Planning Engineer and be located at Springfields Fuels Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:

Support operations to identify the scope of a project and coordinate the production of requirement specification.

Support the project team to deliver projects from concept to operation.

Utilise change control processes to ensure governance for Safety case, Quality, Asset management.

Engage with multiple site partners (safety, technical, quality assurance etc), to provide a smooth transition from project execution to qualified operation.

Produce project implementation strategies and provide planning support, demonstrating control of safety and quality whilst minimising impact to normal operations.

Engage with the risk management process to help mitigate risks to the project, whilst ensuring that the defined scope is being adhered to.

Provide support to commissioning and qualification activities.

Help produce the capital 5 year plan.

Engage with senior project managers to identify opportunities for additional scope / projects within year to support the business.
Qualifications:
-
Engineering qualification(s) degree/HNC or equivalent experience

Ability to challenge activities to ensure safety, quality and operations are being adhered to.

Ability to identify issues and delegate resolution actions.
-
Ability to demonstrate a knowledge of a project life cycle.

Proficient in use of planning software / tools.
-
Resilience and conflict resolution skills.
-
Competency with computers inc. MS Office (Microsoft project is preferrable but not essential)
