We are seeking a motivated individual with strong planning skills to join our SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) team as a Planner. This role will report directly to the Planning Manager within GOS, focusing on Production Planning and supporting SIOP. Comprehensive training will be provided to support your professional development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop feasible manufacturing plans to meet production targets and customer demands.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations to troubleshoot issues and adjust plans as needed.
  • Proactively identify potential challenges in meeting production schedules and assess associated customer delivery risks.
  • Support preparation of SIOP plans for both monthly local reviews and global review inputs when necessary.
  • Support generation of various planning scenarios to mitigate delivery risks and assess opportunities for new business.
  • Provide support for the mid-term planning process to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Monitor and report on key departmental KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Business and Product Delivery (B&PD), Chem Services (CMSD), Product Design Group (PDG), Quality, and Global SIOP.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

 

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in problem-solving techniques to address complex challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyse data effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel to manipulate and analyse data efficiently.
  • Familiarity with our product streams and customer requirements.
  • Experience with SAP and NUMIS systems would be advantageous, though not essential.
