SIOP Planner

We are seeking a motivated individual with strong planning skills to join our SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) team as a Planner. This role will report directly to the Planning Manager within GOS, focusing on Production Planning and supporting SIOP. Comprehensive training will be provided to support your professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop feasible manufacturing plans to meet production targets and customer demands.
- Collaborate closely with Operations to troubleshoot issues and adjust plans as needed.
- Proactively identify potential challenges in meeting production schedules and assess associated customer delivery risks.
- Support preparation of SIOP plans for both monthly local reviews and global review inputs when necessary.
- Support generation of various planning scenarios to mitigate delivery risks and assess opportunities for new business.
- Provide support for the mid-term planning process to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
- Monitor and report on key departmental KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Foster strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Business and Product Delivery (B&PD), Chem Services (CMSD), Product Design Group (PDG), Quality, and Global SIOP.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical aptitude with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in problem-solving techniques to address complex challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyse data effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel to manipulate and analyse data efficiently.
- Familiarity with our product streams and customer requirements.
- Experience with SAP and NUMIS systems would be advantageous, though not essential.
