Technical Administrator
Salwick Preston, GB
Welcome to the future of nuclear energy, where Westinghouse Electric Company is leading the field with expertise and innovation to shape the power of tomorrow.
At Westinghouse, innovation is in our DNA. We are creative. We think differently. We reimagine the possible across the nuclear industry every day.
As a Technical Administrator you will assist in the provision of support to a service delivery function to meet business objectives to agreed standards whilst maintaining confidentiality.
You will report to the Archives, Dosimetry & OH Services Manager and be located at Springfields Fuels. The role is fully onsite (“anchor role”) due to service requirements and data sensitivity.
The role suits a candidate who is comfortable managing a multi‑faceted position. This is a long‑term opportunity with comprehensive in‑house training across two areas: archival records management and dosimetry administration. Some tasks will be introduced gradually as training progresses and may involve light to moderate physical activity. Although you will work under supervision, we value initiative, accuracy, and a proactive approach.
You will contribute to monthly team KPIs once trained and may also perform ad hoc administrative tasks to support wider departmental deliverables.

- Core hours: 08:00–15:45, including a 45‑minute lunch break.
- Some flexibility in start/end times is possible after full training.

Qualifications & Skills
- We require no prior knowledge of archives or dosimetry; we provide full training in these niche areas.
- Experience working within policies, compliance standards, or administrative environments is beneficial.
- Comfortable adapting to change and learning new tasks gradually.
- Reliable, organised, and able to complete tasks accurately.
- Manage responsibilities during periods of reduced team presence and collaborate effectively with the wider team.
