Logistics Specialist will be responsible for managing and monitoring logistics activities across the Asia Pacific region, with a strong emphasis on China’s import/export processes.

This role requires the ability to anticipate and respond to real-time changes in logistics conditions, ensuring efficient and compliant movement of goods and materials.

Job Description:

 

  • Create and Maintain the process for global operations team.
  • Oversee end-to-end logistics solutions for shipments within the Asia Pacific region.
  • Monitor and analyze logistics trends, regulatory updates, and geopolitical developments that may impact supply chain efficiency.
  • Contribute to the establishment of logistics process based on project requirement .
  • Implement contingency plans to address disruptions in logistics networks (e.g., port delays, regulatory changes, natural disasters).
  • Communicate with external vendor and internal stakeholders to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of importation.
  • Arrange the inbound/outbound with 3rd party warehouse.
  • Support Customs audit and inspection if necessary .
  • Maintain the related import and export records/reports and ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • To work in a way that positively engages the support of stakeholders using problem solving and proactive communication skills to deal with potentially difficult situations and conversation.
  • Understand Logistics, Forwarding, Warehouse, Package business, fully compliance.
  • Manage the procure to pay process from engagement through to Purchase Order issuance and ensure payment.
  • Process Purchase Requisitions and create Purchase Orders.
  • Resolve issues related to Purchase Orders and Invoices in due coordination with Accounts Payable.
  • Facilitate logistics contract change activities (including change requests, amendments, orders, renewals, and termination notices).
  • Actively contribute to process & systems improvements identification and implementation.
  • Support and promote a culture where a high quality of work is the norm.
  • Support Global Logistics Manager and China Logistics Lead for China import & export business.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge in SAP system and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms, hazardous materials shipping (if applicable), and nuclear-related logistics requirements is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret logistics data and market intelligence.
  • Strong sense of compliance and ethics.
  • Strong at interpersonal skills, willing to communicate or challenge in a respectful way and seek the alignment among different teams.
  • Experience with vendor management including supplier contract administration.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze and draw conclusions from quantitative data.
  • Good at seeking the best knowledge, proactively raise the transformation/innovation ideas.
  • Ability to amicably and professionally resolve disputes with suppliers.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage data and workflows in a database environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Mandarin .
  • Working under pressure with many urgent case.

Education: BA/BS in areas of international trade , Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.

Years of Experience: 

5 years + import & export experience, work experience in project is a plus

Prior experience in industries with stringent compliance requirements (e.g., nuclear, energy, aerospace, or heavy machinery) is highly preferred.

Skills and Competencies: Good communication skills with cross-functionally team
