Senior Accountant

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Senior accounting staff, this position will be responsible for all intercompany transactions in SAP, keeping track on revenue and COGS recognition. You will provide analysis to support the monthly project’s performance review and the operation of each cost center.

Job Description:

• Ensuring day-to-day transactions including intercompany AR and AP, cash receipts and credit card transactions, and payroll are recorded properly.
• Ensuring proper COGS & revenue and expense recognition.
• Monitoring cash balances and performing cash flow forecasting.
• Provide analysis report for monthly project performance review and the operation of each cost center
• Performing monthly closing and fiscal year-end close activities
• Continually seeking and implementing opportunities to streamline and improve finance and accounting operations through technology including training staff to better utilize ERP system
• Perform Ad hoc analysis to support complex and evolving business decision-making
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and China Accounting Standards
• Liaise with Auditor/Government officials to ensure the organization’s accounting activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws and standards.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and supply chain to align financial objectives with broader business goals.

5. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management: Capability to manage cash flow and optimize working capital.

6. Tax Planning: Understanding of local and international tax regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of broadly based accounting or finance work
• CPA preferred but not a must
• SAP experience preferred
• Fluent English language skills
• Strong Analysis knowledge and learning aptitude
• Self-discipline and self-driven
