<span 72="">Facilities/Shipping Coordinator

Your Day-to-Day:

1. Performs necessary repairs and improvements of the building and its equipment with direction from the Operations Manager.
2. Coordinates outside contractors for facility maintenance needs.
3. Monitors operation of plant and facilities equipment and systems.
4. Participates in plant safety, health and environmental programs.
5. Performs, coordinates and maintains plant equipment preventative maintenance.
6. 24-hour on-call status for facility emergencies.
7. Manages communication and schedules with third party packaging suppliers
8. Ensures all shipping and facility activities are completed as required
9. Supports manufacturing activities by obtaining qualifications as necessary to support shop schedule such as machine operator, blasting or painting.
10. Supports shipping activities as necessary such as cycle counting, pulling kits, shipments.
     

Minimum Requirements :

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

•  High School Degree or equivalent.
• 3-6 years of relevant experience. 
• Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple projects and assignments, able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Skilled in the use of computers, including email, Excel spreadsheets, Word documents.
• SAP experience preferred
• Demonstrates the ability to work independently
• Effective written, oral, and communication skills
• Problem solving skills to reflect the levels of responsibility
• The ability to identify areas in need of immediate improvements and make recommendations on implementations.
• Results oriented and team player.
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
