About the role:

As a APX SC International Student, you will support Westinghouse APX Supply Chain team in various activities and tasks. These include verifying quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries from Westinghouse. This verification process spans from bid phase and component design through manufacturing. Support supplier evaluation for our suppliers as requested delivery stream office for AP1000 and AP300 opportunities in EMEA region.

You will report to the Senior Manager, APX Supply Chain Account Management Operations and be located at Sofia, Bulgaria.

Model of work: hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Supplier Identification

• Support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations and NDA/PIA negotiations

• Lead RFQ package creation

• Lead Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix reviews

• Support Supplier Selection for PO Placement

• Lead Kick-Off meeting with chosen supplier

• Conduct scheduled meetings with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Support Team

• Manage Westinghouse Project Support Team

• Manage execution of required Witness and Hold Points

• Hold pre-job briefs and kick-offs for important/critical PO manufacturing activities

• Support PO Change Notices

• Provide Project Schedule Updates and Customer Status Updates

• Ensure all required PO scope is complete, including fabrication, testing and documentation.

• Archive the QR/QADP in PRIME and then send it to the site or customer (as defined by the project) to aid in receipt and turnover of equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in process in Mechanical/ Electrical/Civil/Electrical/Power Engineering

• Interest in the Power/nuclear Industry but could be in any of the following industries: Oil & Gas, pipelines, refineries, offshore production platforms, or manufacturing plants

• Be familiar with Manufacturing process/supplier assessment

• Fluent in English
