About the role:
As a Deskside Support Technician you will provide IT support for the Westinghouse Sofia Office.
You will report to the ISD EMEA South Manager and be located in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Model of work: on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Operations

Ensure daily IT operations.

Manage incidents and service requests using ITSM tools.

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both in-person and remotely.

Procure and deploy approved hardware and software, assist users with ITSM requests.
-
Configure and deploy new or replacement devices (servers, network equipment, PCs, laptops, printers, mobile and fixed telephony).

Perform regular checks to ensure hardware and software functionality.
-
Maintain accurate IT asset inventory in the CMDB.

Manage inventory, including reception, registration, and shipment of IT equipment and materials.

Support the estimation of demand for laptops and other end-user devices.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
Standards & Compliance

Stay up to date with global IT standards, guidelines, and inventory lists.

Provide feedback on technology projects to the Regional IT Manager.

Ensure data protection and compliance with Westinghouse security policies.
Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with your department team members to provide tailored IT solutions.

Coordinate with Corporate IT and external vendors to support project execution.
Qualifications:
-
2+ years of professional experience in the field of IT support.
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Familiarity with the ITIL framework.

Experience in solving technical problems.

Initiative in finding solutions and commitment to continuous improvement.

Very good Bulgarian and English skills (verbal and written).

Microsoft certifications are a plus.
