Engineer, Project Manager

About the role:

As a Project Manager you will verify quality and technical requirements for projects, products, and service deliveries for Westinghouse – from bid phase and component design through manufacturing and delivery. You will help evaluate our suppliers to include preparing customer communications, support management of multiple projects and reporting for opportunities related to AP1000, AP300, eVinci and other products.

• You will report to the Bulgaria Project Procurement Sr Manager and be located in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Assessment:

• Support Supplier Identification and down selection.

• Support completion of Supplier Audits and Technical Evaluations

• Support completion of NDA/PIA negotiations

• Support Request for Quotation (RFQ) package creation

• Schedule and support Supplier Design Proposal / Compliance Matrix review meetings.

Supplier Oversight:

• Support creating the Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule.

• Support coordination of Supplier Oversight Quality Assurance (QA) Technical Witness and Hold Points.

• Support the project management team to interface with Supplier Quality support organizations.

Supplier Development & Management:

• Create Agendas and support Kick-Off meetings with Suppliers.

• Schedule and support regularly scheduled meetings.

• Support Westinghouse Project Support Team Execution.

• Support execution of required Supplier QA Witness and Hold Points.

• Schedule and support pre-job briefs and/or kick-off meetings for important/critical PO manufacturing activities.

• Provide periodic Project Schedule Updates.

• Ensure all required Supplier PO scope is complete

• Ensure the Westinghouse Quality Release (QR) has been completed to support shipment.

• Ensure the QR and associated Quality Assurance Data Package (QADP) have been archived in PRIME.

• Send QR/QADP to the site or customer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering.

• 2+ years of experience in the Power Generation or Nuclear Industries or Oil & Gas, Pipelines, Refineries, Offshore Oil Production Platforms, Ship Building, Manufacturing Plants, Supply Chain, etc.

• Knowledge of programming software is a plus but not required.

• Fluent in English.

• Willingness to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier development.
