About the role:
As a Junior Project Engineer you will join the Project Engineering team supporting the Kozloduy Units 7 and 8 AP1000 project. We offer a unique opportunity to work on one of the most significant energy infrastructure projects in Europe. You will gain exposure to a broad range of engineering disciplines, including mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation and controls, chemical, and systems engineering.
You will work with project engineers, discipline leads, customers, suppliers, and partner organizations to help coordinate engineering activities, support project execution, and drive successful project outcomes.
You will report to the Senior Project Engineering Manager and be located at Sofia, Bulgaria.
Model of work: hybrid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support planning and coordination of engineering activities across multiple technical disciplines.
- Help track engineering deliverables, schedules, action items, and project milestones.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between engineering teams, customers, suppliers, and project partners.
- Support preparation and review of technical documents, reports, presentations, and project metrics.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to action item management and follow-up.
- Support implementation of project processes, procedures, and quality requirements.
- Develop an understanding of the AP1000 technology, nuclear industry standards, and project execution practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Nuclear, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline).
- Academic performance and demonstrated interest in project execution or engineering coordination.
- Very good English skills.
