We are looking for a Bulgaria based Manager responsible for on-shore activities associated with the development of an AP1000 project at Kozloduy in Bulgaria. 

 

 

About the role

 

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key in-country stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, partners, and government officials
  • Collect, provide information, and liaison with onshore stakeholders to inform the international strategy offer teams
  • Aid in the development and implementation of a media communications plan, inclusive of local public relations marketing strategy
  • Drive visits, events, and financial plans (inclusive of identifying, planning, and executing) in country for Energy Systems and partners to support our market strategy
  • Lead establishment and maintenance of facility needs for Sofia office; Team with Facilities representatives to develop proposals and provide recommendations for office locations; Team with WEC security to identify, develop and implement an Energy Systems security plan

 

 

Qualifications and competencies

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or equivalent related field
  • 10 - 15 years of professional experience
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in developing customer relationships at all levels
  • High level proficiency in project management
  • Working knowledge of power industry and technical fields related to plant design, operation, maintenance, construction, and supply chain
  • Experience in commercial project management and business development
  • Effective oral and written communications in English
  • Comprehensive knowledge of principles risk analysis, financial management and business management practices
  • Ability to influence different thinking across the organization and challenge the status quo in a constructive and collaborative way
