About the role:
Are you ready to be part of something big? We're looking for a Senior Nuclear Project Engineer.
You will join our fast-growing Project Engineering team in Bulgaria and become part of a groundbreaking new chapter in nuclear energy development. You will work on one of Europe's most exciting clean energy projects: the design and development of a new AP1000® nuclear power plant. This is your opportunity to grow with a global leader in nuclear innovation - Westinghouse - as we expand our new-build capabilities across Europe.
You will report to the Senior Project Engineering Manager and be located in Sofia, Bulgaria. Model of work: hybrid.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the design and development of a next-generation AP1000 nuclear power plant.

Analyze customer requests and create tailored technical response plans.

Gather and compile technical data across multiple engineering disciplines into clear reports and deliverables.

Lead the integration of customer requirements and coordinate technical teams to create innovative solutions.

Define project scopes, schedules, and resource estimates based on RFQs.

Collaborate across engineering and teams to ensure high-quality project outcomes.

Present technical concepts to customers and partners and represent Westinghouse in technical discussions.

Contribute to proposal and bidding efforts for future new build projects across Europe.

Provide support to the Project Engineering Manager and Technical Design Lead.
Qualifications:
-
A Master's degree in Engineering - Nuclear, Mechanical, Power Engineering or related fields

7+ years of relevant experience in engineering, ideally within the energy or nuclear industry.

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Strong collaboration and networking abilities, excellent presentation skills.

Willingness to travel internationally as required (up to ~25% during peak periods).
