Westinghouse Bulgaria, part of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is looking to hire for its Global I&C Center of Competence in Sofia, a System Administrator.

Job Responsibilities:

As a System Administrator you will:

• Perform maintenance, configuration of I&C systems, incl. virtual systems under direction of higher classified personnel;
• Execute Software updates, system patching and troubleshooting;
• Perform research on system technology and provide resolution to complex issues;
• Implement integration of third-party systems and software into existing I&C systems, support the migration process of I&C systems to newer versions;
• Diagnose and resolve systems problems in timely fashion;
• Develop detailed technical procedures, system specifications and procedures for system updates;
• Interface with senior systems personnel to discuss system configuration alternatives and identify additional systems requirements;
• Evaluate optimal solutions to problems that arise from conflicts between system requirements and system/technical capabilities;
• Analyze and recommend system modifications or development, and research alternatives to optimize system performance and reduce costs for assigned system areas;
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.

Requirements for the Position:

• Bachelor or higher degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent;
• Alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments
• Very Good written and spoken English;
• Knowledge in Server OS Systems: Windows Server
• Knowledge in MS Active Directory administration and troubleshooting, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Backup & Restore
• Knowledge in networks – LAN & network devices (switches, routers), TCP/IP;
• Knowledge in scripting languages (preferably PowerShell);
• Knowledge in implementation of virtual systems (preferably with VMWare);
• Relevant experience will be considered an advantage;
• Readiness to travel abroad and within the country.
