Head of Site Facilities and Services, Springfields
Westinghouse is seeking a real-estate and facilities leader for the Springfields site. Reporting to the Managing Director of Springfields, this key role will be accountable for short and long-term site planning, including buildings, space, land, and infrastructure.
The Head of Facilities and Services will generally be responsible for third party leases and opportunities, contractor management, compliance and day-to-day buildings maintenance and services for the optimal utilization of the site facilities.
Your Day to Day:

Works with Springfields Fuel (SFL) Management Team to obtain necessary regulatory/building permits for Springfield growth

Partner and advisor to executive stakeholders on all workplace planning activities.

Owns and manages third party leases for space and or facilities services

Provides support for third party strategic leases and Joint Venture leases

Responds to internal and external demands, assess the physical space requirements, and provides detailed options and recommendations, and associated costs

Proactively markets remaining identified leasable space, developing space options and proposals for complex problems

Ensures general safety, compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company requirements

Accountable to day-to-day site (not factory) maintenance and services associated with Springfields’s facilities to improve response/resolution times, quality of service, and corporate expenses.

Accountable for the transformation plans for all site maintenance and shared services

Accountable for long term site infrastructure planning and capital management – proactively seeking cost and operational efficiencies and risk reduction

Works with SFL decommissioning team to plan and deliver decommissioning activities.
Required to be successful in the role:

Bachelor’s degree

10 years of experience in space planning, facilities management, and maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Must have (or be able to obtain) appropriate UK MOD clearance
-
Strong executive presence with a proven ability to influence leadership.

Experience working with and influencing senior levels in the organization.

Excellent customer communication skills including strong organizational, interpersonal skills.

Experience to effectively manage third party vendors and contracts.

Site maintenance experience in an industrial environment

Analysis of real estate and space related data, experience driving decisions based on data.

Experience driving strategic space planning projects with clarity and simplicity.
