EMEA Manufacturing Controller

The EMEA Manufacturing Controller will provide overall Financial Management of the Springfields, Vasteras, and Mangiarotti manufacturing facilities and lead a team of 10 financial professionals across those three manufacturing sites.  We will consider candidates currently located near one of our manufacturing sites in either Springfields, UK or Vasteras, Sweden. 

 

Your Day to Day:

  • Provide financial advice, counsel and oversight to business management.  Translate conceptual ideas into sound operating plans.  Provide leadership in developing and implementing long-term business plans and manufacturing strategies.
  • Manage the annual 5-year business plan and monthly forecasting and reporting processes for the EMEA manufacturing locations including cost, inventory, capital and investment planning and analysis and as well as profitability planning.
  • Provide status and financial condition of the business by collecting, interpreting, and reporting key financial data.  Includes developing, analyzing, monitoring, reporting information from various supporting financial systems, transformation savings programs, staffing, manufacturing variances, and product valuation.
  • Drive enhanced reporting for the EMEA manufacturing organization from a cost center reporting perspective.
  • Optimize reporting processes across Westinghouse which includes development of systems and tools as well as resource allocation and division of responsibilities with the finance group centers of excellence.
  • Responsible for revenue projections and forecasting including working with the EMEA Business Unit commercial and financial teams as well as site planning organizations to understand the financial impacts of sales/production changes.
  • Responsible for quality, accuracy and timeliness of all data, analysis, and financial reporting for EMEA manufacturing.  This includes GOS as well as EMEA’s business unit reporting.
  • Work with the Finance group across Westinghouse to meet vision, mission, strategy and objectives; attract, retain, and develop world-class talent.
  • Responsible for monthly close requirements to properly reflect the current financial status of the operations.
  • Manage process and review/approve development of costs in support of commercial offers – ensure alignment with business plans and limits of authority.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, Sarbanes Oxley requirements, company policies and procedures, etc. Advise management of action and potential risks.

Manage budgets and control expenses; arrange for audits as required

 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or equivalent)
  • 10-15 years relevant experience
  • Accounting certification preferred
