About the role:

We are looking for a Mechnical Designer with experience in multiple aspects of mechanical design and project management support who will join our Team!

You will report to the NDE Product Engineering Manager and be located in Täby, Sweden.

Model of work: hybrid.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed mechanical design and produce manufacturing drawings.

  • Oversee the purchase of manufacturing and manage Factory Acceptance Tests, write instructions, reports, and customer communication.

  • Write original instructions and manuals, and handle assembly and testing.

  • Hands-on mechanic; assembling parts and components, ensuring they fit correctly and making adjustments to achieve optimal performance and functionality.

  • Provide technical leadership and project management support.

  • Organize and simplify complex structures, ensuring overall understanding and responsibility of the large scope.

 

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience in mechanical design, and experience of standards and know-how of CE marking.

  • Knowledge of Solidworks and PDM systems.

  • Required to communicate clearly with project managers and team members.

  • Very good Swedish and English skills, in speaking and writing.

  • Favourable to have experience of electrical design and/or electrical repair competence (low voltage).
