About the role:
As a Product Manager, Decommissioning, Dismantling and Waste Management (Nuclear Components), you will oversee the end-to-end product management of mechanical and thermal dismantling solutions. These solutions use the decommissioning of nuclear components to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations across the waste management lifecycle.
You will report to the D&WM Program Manager Eastern Countries and be located at Trnava, Slovakia.
Model of work: hybrid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and oversee the product roadmap for dismantling technologies used in nuclear decommissioning.
- Translate customer and site needs (utilities, EPCs, waste operators) into technical and commercial product requirements.
- Ensure full regulatory compliance (nuclear safety, ALARA, waste classification, quality standards).
- Lead coordination between R&D, engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and sales.
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept and qualification through deployment, industrialization, and obsolescence.
- Support bids, tenders, and projects with technical input, value propositions, and risk assessments.
- Monitor market trends, competitor solutions, and latest technologies in nuclear D&D.
- Drive continuous improvement focused on operator safety, remote handling, reliability, and waste minimization.
Qualifications:
- Nuclear decommissioning and dismantling processes
- Mechanical cutting technologies for radioactive environments
- Product lifecycle and portfolio management
- Regulatory and safety-driven design
- Partner management (utilities, regulators, engineering teams)
- Cost, schedule, and risk optimization in complex projects
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be € 2 000,00 to € 2 500,00 per month.
