About the role:

As a Project Controls Specialist – Nuclear Decommissioning you will support nuclear decommissioning programs across Europe. You will bring a background in project planning, cost control, and reporting, with proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and SAP. We ask that you understand project controls within high-regulation environments, especially in the nuclear sector.

 

You will report to the D&D (Decommissioning and Dismantling) Director ELA Outage & Maintenance Services.

Location: Europe. It is a hybrid position.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and optimize project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project.

  • Prepare cost estimates, forecasts, and control budgets using SAP project modules.

  • Track project performance, including schedule and cost variances, and provide analysis for decision-making.

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate project planning and reporting.

  • Support Earned Value Management (EVM) and project performance metrics.

  • Ensure project controls comply with nuclear safety standards and regulatory frameworks.

  • Contribute to change management, risk assessments, and reporting.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years of experience in project controls

  • Advanced user of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and SAP (cost control, budgeting, or project systems modules).

  • Experience with scheduling, cost management, and risk analysis techniques.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

     

Nice to have:

  • Experience in nuclear decommissioning or another regulated infrastructure sector.

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and project performance analytics.

  • Knowledge of nuclear industry regulations in Europe (e.g., ONR, Euratom).

  • Certifications such as PMP, APM PMQ, or AACE CCP.
