About the role:

As a Project Coordinator – Decommissioning & Waste Management Solutions you will help execute large international decommissioning projects within our Decommissioning & Waste Management Solutions product line.

You will coordinate diverse engineering activities, support project planning and execution, and ensure effective communication between customers, engineering teams, suppliers, and project partners. This role is ideal for an engineer with a background in environmental engineering, waste management, nuclear technologies, or related disciplines who is interested in delivering complex international projects in a regulated environment.

 

You will report to the D&WM Program Manager Eastern Countries and be located at Trnava, Slovakia.

Model of work: hybrid, international travel required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate technical and commercial activities across international decommissioning and waste management projects.
  • Support Project Managers in planning, scheduling, cost tracking, risk management, and reporting.
  • Coordinate diverse engineering teams to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Work with customers, partners, subcontractors, and company partners across multiple countries.
  • Monitor project deliverables, action items, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Help prepare technical proposals, project execution plans, schedules, and progress reports.
  • Support procurement and subcontract management activities for project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality, environmental, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify project risks and help implement mitigation plans.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement projects and the standardization of project management processes.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Waste Management Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • We consider knowledge of waste treatment, environmental technologies, decommissioning, or radioactive waste management an advantage.
  • 5+ years of experience with partner management.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken), additional languages are an asset.
  • We prefer proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent).
  • Willingness to travel internationally.
  • Customer-focused mindset.
  • Knowledge of international engineering standards and quality management systems.

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be € 2 000,00 to € 2 500,00 per month.
