About the role:
As a Category Manager Services you will lead a complex category to improve cost, quality, delivery, and reliability to reach organizational goals. You will lead a category management plan for an assigned category. This job requires relationship skills to establish and implement strategies that will have mid-term impact on our results according to organizational needs and project timelines. You will support implementing new products, processes, standards or operational plans.
You will report to the Senior Manager EOMS Contingent Labor and Services Category Management and be located in Västerås, Sweden.
Model of work: hybrid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a category management plan for an assigned category in Services or close related.
- Maintain an overall category strategy to meet organizational goals by improving Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while securing supply continuity through identifying and mitigating current and potential risks and opportunities in the category plan.
- Implement category strategy through a preferred supplier list (PSL). This list also involves "right-sizing" non-preferred suppliers. Additionally, it rewards preferred partners with business awards tied to Long-term Agreements (LTA) with year over year improvements in cost, delivery, quality, service, and profitability.
- Lead important business reviews (SRM) with strategic suppliers to bring category strategy and completion of category goals.
- Prepare presentations for supplier relationship management meetings, category plans, risk mitigation proposals, 4-Blockers, and supplier/category gap analysis.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of procurement experience with complex engineering, procurement, and construction projects. Additionally experience in negotiations and contract development.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Benchmark, market, competitive Intelligence, and procurement projects management skills.
- Experience with supplier management including purchase order issuance, execution, and administration.
- Focus on daily improvement in standard work, talent development, and risk mitigation.
- Maintain long term productive relationship with suppliers.
- ERP system or similar system experience in a global environment is beneficial (SAP & Ariba)
- Very good English skills, additional language preferable.
