Chemical safety coordinator

Welcome to the Division of QEHS and the unit EPS - Health, Environment and Safety! We are a team in areas such as work environment and health, environment and safety who work together to support both the factory and the entire organization in the relevant areas. We see a need to grow our team with a resource that focuses on our work with chemicals.
Your contribution to the transition to fossil-free energy In the role of Chemical safety coordinator, your responsibility will be to coordinate chemical issues and maintain processes for safe chemical management. This includes:

Ensure that we work safely and ensure regulations and legal requirements for the environment and chemicals

Manage and further develop our chemical management system iChemistry
-
Provide support to our organization to manage, replace, and phase out unwanted chemical products
-
In cooperation with other departments, ensure a safe process for the purchase of chemical products
-
courses in chemical management
-
Be a contact person for authorities regarding chemical issues

Administer and write reports
You will work from Bränslegatan in Västerås with a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

Education in the field of environment or chemicals. Alternatively, if you have in-depth knowledge in the field through work experience
-
3+ years of experience in structured environment and chemical work.

Good insight and understanding of chemicals
-
Understanding of manufacturing processes
-
Experience in administration and chemical registers
-
Experience making plans, analyses and follow-up.

Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
If you also have knowledge of performing chemical work environment measurements and have worked in the manufacturing industry, that is meritorious.
