About the role:

Within the Division of Quality and Process Development, the analysis laboratory for chemical and physical analyses are responsible of samples from products, process fluids, residual materials and emission analyses from the Fuel Factory's production. We are also responsible for maintaining the accreditation of the lab according to ISO 17025 and for the development and validation of the methods and equipment that we use for analyses. We have both daytime and shift staff among our 20 employees, who have responsibilities in routine chemical analysis, physical control, analysis quality, development of analysis methods, instrument technology and planning.

You will report to our Production leader and be located at Västerås, Sweden.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with analyses and reporting results from the chemial process
  • Perform quality control of uranium-containing material and environmental analyses
  • Analyse with ICP-MS, as well as traditional wet chemical and physical analyses
  • instrument maintenance

 

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience from a similar role in a laboratory environment.
  • Education with focus on chemistry, or equivalent knowledge thru experience.
  • We believe that you are responsible and have good communication skills.
  • Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English

 

If you have experience from ICP-analysis that is meritorious.
