About the role:
As a Control Systems Engineer your main responsibility is the design of control systems.
You will report to the Director Adv. Operations and Controls Engineering and be located in Västerås, Sweden.
Model of work: hybrid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and upgrade control equipment in existing control systems.
- Analyze existing control systems and adapt technical solutions.
- Conceptual solutions, requirements development and investigations.
- The work often takes place in project form. In this format, you involve yourself in all phases of the projects, from conducting feasibility studies to constructing, analyzing risks, documenting, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and training.
Qualifications:
- Higher technical education with a relevant specialization, such as electrical engineering, engineering physics, computer or energy engineering.
- Work experience from working in projects in industrial automation, especially in the process industry.
- 3+ years of experience with industrial control systems such as ABB AC160, ABB 800xA, Siemens PCS 7 and ABB AC400 series (AMPL).
- Education in control engineering or has worked with control systems.
If you also have experience from the nuclear power industry, this is an advantage.
