Welcome to the Manufacturing Technology unit! We are approximately 45 employees working in areas such as mechanical and process engineering design, electrical design, automation and measurement systems. Together, we aim to maintain a high standard of the factory's production equipment so that we can meet our customers' needs for nuclear fuel. You will join a team with high expertise and you will have great opportunity for carrier growth.
About the role:
To succeed in the role as system engineer we believe you have advanced knowledge administering 800xA systems or Siemens systems within a manufacturing industry. We also believe that once you settle into the role you can approach a situation with focus and see the whole picture. You will report to the Manager Technology and be located at Västerås, Bränslegatan. You will have a hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer control system for production equipment and development of applications in systems (800xA or Siemens).
- Control system configuration, integration, upgrades and troubleshooting.
- Develop standard solutions and working methods in control platform.
- Participate in projects. This include, time estimations, define requirements, communication with cooperation partners, maintain standard solutions with established instructions and participate in FAT/SAT.
- Produce and update plant documentation and design basis. Help keep our work instructions up to date.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering within automation, systems engineering or mechatronics. Alternatively you have experience that is equivalent.
- 5+ years experience in industrial automation and control systems.
- Advanced knowledge administering 800xA systems or Siemens systems.
- Experience with networks and communication between several systems and protocols such as OPC-UA, Profibus and Profinet.
- Experience in troubleshooting applications.
- Experience creating and review technical facility documentation.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Swedish, written and spoken.
- Good collaboration skills
Meritorious
- Experience from a similar field, such as nuclear or medical.
- Knowledge in older systems such as AC400
- Knowledge in Allen Bradley, Keyence and Omron
- Knowledge regarding cyber security
