Welcome to Westinghouse and BNO2, the Maintenance Department for non-active mechanical workshops and encapsulated uranium workshops. We are 11 employees in areas such as electrical mechanics, order preparer and coordinators who work together to manage preventive and corrective maintenance on the Fuel Factory's production equipment.

 In the role of electrical mechanic technicians, you will be an important player in a team that works together to ensure the operation of the production. You will join a team that is happy and who help each other.

 

Your contribution to the transition to fossil-free energy

As an electrical mechanic technicians, your main responsibilities is preventive and corrective maintenance. It also requires that you can be situational and include, among other things:

  • Replacement of pumps and valves

  • Repair and renovations

  • Participate in new investments and improvement work.

  • Robot positioning

  • Leak detection on vacuum applications.

  • Troubleshoot using PLC and electrical schematics

 

You will work onsite in the factory in Västerås and the position is daytime with standby. Therefore, we are looking for you who live in Västerås and the surrounding area and who can be at the factory within an hour if you are on standby. #LI-Onsite

  

We are looking for you  

To excel here, we believe that you are a responsible person who solves problems with a high focus on safety. You are initiative-taking, communicative and have a high level of service to those around you. You maintain focus on safety, accuracy and structure even when the pace is high. You have experience troubleshooting and repairing equipment in the manufacturing industry. We also believe that you thrive in an environment that is independent, developing and curious to learn more about maintenance work in a nuclear fuel manufacturing industry.

  

Qualifications

  • Technical education or competence equivalent by 3+ years experience in electrical and mechanical roles.

  • Work experience in electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical work in industry

  • Experienced in maintenance systems

  • Full professional proficiency of Swedish and English in both speech and writing (since reading and understanding written instructions is part of the role).

 Meritorious

  • Knowledge in troubleshooting with the support of PLC and electrical schematics

  • Knowledge in automation technology, control, regulation and relay technology.
