Export control analyst

Are you independent and great at collaboration with experience in administration? Are you interested in working with advanced technology, together with a creative team? Do you also want to contribute to a better climate and a future filled with clean energy? 

 

Welcome to our team Export Control Sweden. We are three employees in the export control area working together to ensure that our organization can operate in compliance with national and international regulations.

In the role of Export Control Analyst, you will support our companies different departments in operational export control-related matters.

 

Your contribution for a carbon-free future

As Export Control Analyst, your responsibility is operational export control work. Among other things, this means that you will:

  • Review requests in internal systems from an export control-perspective.

  • Review and assess companies, organizations and individuals from a sanctions perspective.

  • Administrate and maintain export licenses, which includes filing, processing and updating internal systems.

  • Submit applications for export licenses to regulatory authorities.

  • Report data on upcoming and historical exports to regulatory authorities

You will work onsite at our office in Västerås. You will have limited possibility to work remote depending on our organizations need. Some shorter travel is included in the role.

 

We are looking for you

To be a good match for this role, we believe that you are communicative and service-minded, as the work includes a high degree of cooperation with our departments. You have experience in administrative tasks and are motivated by supporting and guiding your colleagues through administrative processes. We also believe that you excel in an environment that is dynamic and focused on solutions. We also hope that you are curious to learn more about export control and compliance in the nuclear industry.

 

Qualifications

  • High school graduate

  • 3+ years of experience from an administrative role

  • Drivers license.

  • Full professional proficiency in Swedish and good knowledge in English.

  • Good knowledge in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)

Meritorious

  • Experience from Operational export control work.

  • Experience from Operational Trade Compliance Work.

  • Experience in the nuclear industry sector.

  • Experience working in SAP and GTS systems.
