Electrical mechanic for the maintenance organization, Fuel Factory Westinghouse

At the unit BNO2, we are responsible for maintenance for the Fuel Factory's mechanical workshops and the workshops that handle encapsulated uranium. We are 13 employees, of which 8 are electrical mechanics and 5 who work with preparation, planning and quality. Now we need to expand the group with two new colleagues. Do you feel hit?



Your duties


As an electrical mechanic, your duties are mainly preventive and remedial maintenance on the Fuel Factory's production equipment. This includes, among other things, checks such as vibration measurement, thermographing or visual inspection of components and systems, but also a lot of troubleshooting in remedial maintenance. You also work with some renovation of fuel production components (pumps, valves and special components for presses, furnaces and robotic liners, among others).



In addition to the daily maintenance and troubleshooting work, you contribute to analysis and improvement groups in collaboration with operators and other support units. YOU document the work of our maintenance system and contribute to risk assessments.



Your background



We are looking for you who have upper secondary education with a focus on engineering technology, industry or electrical / automation. You have experience of the role of technician in both electricity and mechanics. Knowledge in turning, milling and/or welding is a merit, as is work experience as a maintenance technician in the manufacturing industry. You have computer skills, preferably within the Office package and relevant maintenance systems, and good oral and written skills in Swedish and English.
