General Job Function:

The Innovation Factory as part of D&I and is looking for an innovation officer to join its team and contribute to our main mission:

Scouting and evaluating disruptive technologies from tech companies and demonstrate their value for increasing operational efficiency and supporting business growth by launching pilot projects.

Willing to learn, curious about disruptive technologies, self-starter with strong networking skills, you will support the growth of the innovation Factory globally.


Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority):

As Innovation officer, you will support all the activities of the innovation factory:

  • Scouting and evaluating disrupting technologies: you will assess the technology by onboarding experts inside Westinghouse and using available tools like Tracxn and estimate value creation together with the BUs
  • Lead and support implementation of Proof of Value with tech companies and keeping track of KPIs
  • Engaging actively with BUs to understand their activities and needs that could be addressed using disruptive technologies and lead to the launch of new projects inside the Innovation Factory
  • Leading ideation challenges for the BUs and implement them on our ideation platform innovate
  • Leading and contributing to market and technology trends reports. Those reports aim to identify technology gaps and new business opportunities for Westinghouse and are communicated broadly internally
  • Leading communication activities to provide D&I and Innovation Factory visibility: you will contribute to feed the Innovate platform, Yammer with D&I highlights and organize/communicate our quarterly event ‘what´s the tech´


Education Level Master’s degree in business

Years of Experience  2 years
