Lifecycle Engineer

About the role:

Coordinate end-to-end manufacturing and supply-chain activities for US, AC160 and WSE products. You will safeguard component availability. You will maintain forecasts and purchasing plans. You will support manufacturing and engineering changes. You will validate commercial documentation. You will coordinate quality, repair, test-equipment, and tooling matters with GPV and other suppliers.

You will report to the Nordic CIS Engineering Manager and be located in Västerås, Sweden.

Model of work: hybrid.

Key Responsibilities:

• Component lifecycle and LTB involve monitoring PCNs and PDNs. Participation in Quotations, planning and tracking purchase orders and reviewing invoices. Maintaining inventory and requiring LTBs.
• Preparing product forecasts from designated project inputs, issue them to GPV, and confirm correct handling in GPV systems. Keeping pricing information updated.
• Manufacturing operations: Coordinate manufacturing issues, maintain the Master PL, manage delivery plans, analyze shortage files, and review new manufacturing documents.
• Projects and engineering changes: Run smaller projects and changes, prepare and communicate ECOs to GPV, and coordinate manufacturing activities for project work.
• Documentation: Build purchase-order folder structures and confirm that required documents are uploaded and complete.
• Coordinating cooperation with GPV: Hardware issues, quality of manufacturing.
• Test equipment, tools and external suppliers: Maintain oversight of test environment, manufacturing tools and supplier interfaces, including Mekanotjänst, AQ Plast, Aluscreen, Modellservice and Sidrag.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Supply-chain control, Lifecycle management, Manufacturing coordination with related documentation management. Requires Analytical capability.
• Collaboration: Clear follow-up and communication across project teams, product owners, GPV and third-party suppliers.
