Welcome to Westinghouse and department NRT - Nordic Reactor Services Tooling & Technology. We are 30 employees in areas such as tooling design, manufacturing and service working together to help our internal and extern customer solve their problems.

We support our internal service workshop where we manufacture tools and equipment for our customers and site projects. We specializes in one-piece production of stainless steel and aluminium parts for the nuclear power industry.

 

Your contribution for a carbon-free future  

As responsible for the Machine shop your main responsibility is to keep the machine shop running with tasks, supporting equipment, service and maintenance and also be involved in improvements and investments. You will go through all our orders and divide these into internal and external manufacturing and purchases. In addition to your daily tasks, you will also contribute to

  • Plan and coordinate deliveries to the workshop
  • Responsible for inventory management
  • Manage purchase of external manufacturing, maintenance and spare parts for the workshop
  • Ensure that everything is according to the requirements of the client.
  • Safety representative for the office at Tegnér
  • Responsible for statutory inspections of equipment in the workshop

 

You will be in a service organization with many contact points internally and externally.

You will work onsite in Västerås, at the Tegnér office

 

We are looking for you   

To be a good match for this role, we believe that you work together well across departments and can prioritize when facing unexpected changes in delivery. To succeed in this role we think you have work experience from a production unit, or you have been responsible for a smaller machine/welding shop. You are motivated to solve upcoming problems so that the products and deliveries to our customer arrive in time and with the high quality that is expected. We also believe that you grow in an environment where there is a high demand on security and quality where you will be an important part.

 

Qualifications   

  • 3+ years experience from similar role.
  • Knowledge reading and understanding technical drawings and able to do step-by-step breakdown for production.
  • Knowledge about inventory management.
  • Knowledge about safety regulations in production. Previous experience from regulatory safety inspections is meritorious.
  • Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English, both speaking and writing.
