Maintenance technician

About the role:

As a Maintenance technician you will work with repairs, maintenance, inspections, calibration and documentation of radiation measuring instruments. You will join our engineers and maintenance team at BNC who focus on our facilities and service system. We are now expanding our fuel factory and our team.

You will report to our the Manager Service Systems and Facilities. You will work onsite at Bränslegatan Västerås.

Key Responsibilities:

• Specialize in radiation protection systems
• Maintenance, inspections, calibration and registration of radiation measurement instruments and radiation protection systems
• Administrative tasks such as registration and planning in SAP

Qualifications:

• Technical upper secondary education, or higher, with a specialization in electrical engineering, electronics, control and automation or similar.
• 1+ years of experience from a technician role with focus on repairs.
• Experience working with technical drawings.
• Fluent in Swedish, written and spoken
• Good knowledge in English
• Good collaboration skills
• Take ownership over your tasks.

Meritorious

• Knowledge of radiological measurement instruments.
• Knowledge of calibration methodology and verification measurements.
• Knowledge of radiological physics.
• Knowledge of SAP or other maintenance system.

Other

You will receive training in radiological measurement methodologies, training on our radiation protection instruments and systems, and training in our maintenance platform, SAP.
