Manager Customer Quality and control

About the role:

As a Manager Customer quality and Control you will lead an experienced quality organization supporting operations across diverse operations.

You will lead a unit consisting of two teams led by team managers reporting to you and quality leaders and quality process developer. The two teams have different areas such as quality engineers and quality coordinators. Our quality engineers ensure the quality in the daily operations, and process compliance. And our quality coordinators ensure our documentation, traceability and final compliance.

You will report to the Department manager Quality and Process. You will be located at Bränslegatan, Västerås in a hybrid role. In a manager position, we encourage you to be on site as much as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead your two team leaders and support in their leadership.
• Lead your direct reports in areas such as, development, follow-up, management in quality control and assurance.
• Secure that manufactured products meet drawing, specification, certification, and customer requirement.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, operations and project manager to ensure stable processes, problem-solving and clear quality governance.
• Ensure customer requirements are implemented and followed during manufacturing.
• Lead improvement plans in quality and manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience in manfacturing quality, quality engineering or production related quality roles.
• 5+ years leadership experience leading teams in operational and technical environments.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
• Experience improving quality processes, methods, and ways of working, lean 6 sigma.
• Experience leading quality work in the manufactory and support stable, efficient production.
• Knowledge in SAP or equivalent ERP/Q-system.
