About the role:

As a Manager - Fuels Supplier Performance you will lead the team responsible for the developing and the managing suppliers who deliver nuclear fuel components to our facility.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Global Fuel Supplier Performance and be located in Västerås, Sweden. Work model is hybrid.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Provide oversite and direction to the team of Supplier Performance Engineers and Supplier Management Specialists.

·         Ensure the correct balance of resources to support the nuclear fuel department.

·         Active participation in the recruiting of new talent for long-term needs.

·         Maintain an aligned department relationship.

·         Identify our priorities by assessing determining project goals, execution time, and implementation costs.

·         Manage regional suppliers to deliver required material, meeting the specified quality requirements, at the designed cost.

·         Work with the team to complete supplier selection and development projects on time and on budget.

·         Run and use the Supplier SIOP and Supplier Assessment processes to address challenges before they become issues, and to improve.

·         Provide management team information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing engineering data and trends. Manage performance metrics for regional suppliers and driving to goal.

·         Prepare and implement training and development plans. Help develop next generation of Supplier Performance Engineers and Supplier Management Specialists. Support development and mentoring of the team to aid in their technical development, project performance and work satisfaction.

·         Engage with senior management, external customers and partners.

 

Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical production and manufacturing discipline, or equivalent with business experience.

·         10+ years of strong and progressively more responsible leadership experience.

·        Excellent team building skills with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

·        Ability to gather and analyze input, evaluate alternatives, and make decisions.

·        Knowledge of manufacturing and production as well as human resource principles and practices.·

·         Strong leadership skills.
