About the role:

As a Manager Project Procurement – Supply Chain your main responsibility will be to lead a project PPM team within high complexity projects.

 

You will report to the EMEA Manager, Projects Procurement and be located in Västerås, Sweden.

Model of work: hybrid.

Travel: Europe - 10% to 20% of your time.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elaborate and define the Project Procurement Program schedule.
  • Conduct all pre and post award project procurement activities associated with EPC/EPIC/EPCM projects as applicable
  • Develop procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams. Identify and capture the demand, identify potential suppliers and establish a communication channel toward the suppliers.
  • Establish pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy financial, quality and delivery requirements
  • Ensure commercial compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse's procurement procedures.
  • RFx development and preparation, definition of commercial conditions
  • Analyze all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements. Develop strategies to maximize supplier base cost/value.
  • Develop the procurement strategy for procuring goods and services necessary for the project in compliance with the set requirements.
  • Develop relationships with main suppliers and partners while mediating and resolving contract performance issues.
  • Explore the market in collaboration with different teams to identify new technologies that create value for the end customer.

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in project procurement management.
  • Managing EPIC Project Procurement activities experience.
  • Experience from Supply Chain, purchasing of services and equipment for major projects, including Engineering Procurement Construction and Commissioning (EPCC).
  • Knowledge of NEC/FIDIC regulations
  • Leadership experience
  • Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Meritorious:

  • Additional European language - Czech, Romanian, Polish, French, Italian, Spanish, Swedish.
