Manager Quality Program at Westinghouse Sweden's

Westinghouse is a global company in the nuclear power industry. This Quality Program team support the Swedish site of almost 1000 employees working with manufacturing, engineering, field service, marketing and sales and support functions. In the role of Quality Manager QP, you will lead the Quality Programs and Oversight unit, part of the Westinghouse QEHS organization. The unit consist of about 10 employees work with management systems, audits, continuous improvements, quality control, quality assurance, assurance of supplier quality and administrative support.

Your contribution to the transition to fossil-free energy

Nuclear energy is a critical for the world to transition to fossil-free energy sources. Westinghouse is a strong contributor to this transition, and a strong quality program is a business-critical function to succeed. Safety, quality and to meet customer and regulatory requirements are highest priority for us.

As a Manager for Quality Programs, you will work with and lead experienced engineers in Quality Assurance and Quality Control. You will work closely with the Swedish organization and support them in their work with quality assurance and continuous improvement. You are responsible for the management and development of our management system, quality control in projects and are the contact person for QEHS audits.

The position is based in Lunda/Fuel factory but with good opportunities to work remotely a few days a week.

We are looking for you

We are looking for a manager that is positive, development-focused and burning for high performance quality management systems, management processes, controlled corrective measures, ISO standards, audits in the quality and quality control. We need a well-organized person with good leadership skills who can lead our quality unit. You should be able to distribute work and follow up so that the activities are carried out and be a caring and fair leader. Good communication skills in both Swedish and English are a prerequisite.

We believe you are well organized, driven, solution-oriented, communicative and you should have experience of working in a global company in a regulatory environment. As a manager you should be motivated to create a great place to work. motivating employees, driving improvements and supporting the Westinghouse to be successful.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a quality manager or similar senior position.
• Experience of working with and developing a process-oriented, integrated management system in a large global organization and should have worked with continuous improvements.
• Good knowledge of management system standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 etc.
• Higher education diploma
• Experience of quality auditing and/or causal investigations is also a merit
• Interest in process improvements
• Fluent in English
