Welcome to the EMEA Payroll team.

In the role of Payroll Analyst in our team, you will be a key player to run payroll smoothly and compliant with the Swedish law.

 

Your contribution for a carbon-free future

As Payroll Analyst your main responsibility is to process payroll, complete audits, perform reconciliations and with payroll provider handle all daily operational activities. Among other things, this means that you will:

  • Analyze and validate payroll outputs (e.g gross-to-net reports, payslips, time and attendance data).
  • Ensure third-party payments and reporting are done following legally required compliance by performing related tasks related to payroll.
  • Maintain employee records.
  • Prepare regular payroll reports and ad hoc reports.
  • Maintain written procedures documenting compliance and processes.
  • Manage reporting for employee pension and benefits contributions and employer matching.
  • Work with HR and Finance systems to maintain accurate payroll and pension records and ensure accurate reporting to pension administrators.
  • Resolve issues related to salary, benefits and pension accounts.

In addition to your daily tasks, you will also help improve the processes where gaps might be found.

 

You will work from the office in Västerås, Sweden and you will have the possibility to work remotely a few days per week, agreed based on current needs.

 

We are looking for you

To be a good match for this role, we believe that you have knowledge of Swedish payroll law and are good at finding solutions. You have good analytic skills and communication skills. We also believe that you excel in an environment where you will be in the center of any payroll related questions from employees.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in Swedish payroll
  • Knowledge of Swedish payroll regulations and payroll terms
  • Great skills in Excel
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both speaking and written

 

Meritorious

  • Experience working with external payroll providers
  • Knowledge of SAP and SuccessFactors
  • Experience with payroll audits and process improvement
  • Familiarity with multi-country payroll environment (EMEA)
  • Experience with high-volume payroll or shared service environment
